100% of every pound you raise goes towards supporting our Naval children. We cover all our office and administrative operating costs ourselves using the income from our Fund established when we sold our orphanages.
Step 1: if you are planning to fundraise for the Naval Children’s Charity decide how you want to raise money and think about when and where it will take place. Book any necessary venues or equipment and create a training schedule if you’re participating in a challenge event.
Step 2: let us know! Contact us and let us know what you are planning. We can then send you our fundraising pack which is full of useful information. This includes how to make sure you are keeping it legal and safe as well as how to get sponsorship.
The Naval Children’s Charity can provide collection tins which we will send to you. These can be put around your local area and we will rely on you to regularly empty them and send us the balance. You have a legal obligation to send us any money put into one of our tins. We advise that you do not send cash in the post to us, so therefore we ask that you pay this cash into your own account and then make a payment out to us. This can be via cheque or bank transfer – please email the team for the details on how to do this.
After your event, please send us details along with the total amount raised so that we can guide you on submitting your donations. Also, consider contacting local media outlets to share your achievements. Lastly, be sure to thank everyone who supported you!
