Month of the Military Child

To celebrate the 2026 Month of the Military Child and shine a light on the incredible resilience and strength shown by our young people in partnership with the National Museum of the Royal Navy Portsmouth and The Naval Families Federation.

We are offering 200 free tickets to the

National Museum of the Royal Navy Portsmouth (Historic Dockyard) for families.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • One application per family.
  • Tickets are limited to a maximum of 6 tickets per application (max 6 tickets per family).
  • Applicants must bring at least one Naval child.
  • Tickets are non-transferable. 1 person per ticket. No age restrictions.
  • The applicant must provide a service number. One parent or guardian must be serving / veteran to be eligible to apply.
  • You will be asked for a Service Number when you apply.
  • Deadline for applying is 10th March 2026. Successful applicants only will be notified by 12th March.

Entry time: Strictly between 10.15am – 11am.
Tickets: Gives you free entry to all areas.
Come to the Princess Royal Gallery and meet the Naval Children’s Charity, chill out, enjoy some children’s activities, find info from organisations supporting Naval families: NFF, Tall Ships, Swim Free, RNSA Youth Crew, AGGIES, Forces Employment Charity – Families Programme and meet other families.
